Honey Beer Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 oz beer of your choice
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 cup honey

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Pour in the honey and beer and mix until combined.
  4. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan with half of the melted butter.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth it out. Brush the rest of the butter on the top.
  6. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack to finish cooling.
